Number 1 Most Prolific Striker In The UFC History

According to the research I made earlier this week it is confirmed that Max Holloway is officially the most prolific striker in the UFC history with a total number of 3,122. However according to Sherdog’s Top 10 series, the most prolific strikers in UFC history are as follows: Georges St-Pierre, Frankie Edgar, Max Holloway, Michael Bisping, Donald Cerrone, Nate Diaz, Jon Jones, Demetrious Johnson, Anderson Silva and T.J. Dillashaw.

But the research shows that Max Holloway surpassed St-Pierre way back, Holloway has a total of 3,122 significant strikes while the man of many records Georges St-Pierre has a total of 2,523 significant strikes.

Years from now, MMA historians will still speak of St. Pierre in glowing superlatives.

A two-time UFC welterweight champion and the cornerstone of the Tristar Gym in Montreal, St. Pierre’s 19 victories -- he recorded 12 of them in title bouts -- tie him with Michael Bisping for first on the UFC’s all-time list. “Rush” compiled a 19-2 record inside the Ultimate Fighting Championship and avenged the only two defeats on his ledger, as he put away Matt Hughes twice and bludgeoned Matt Serra with knees to the body. St. Pierre plastered his name all over the statistical leaderboard before vacating his title and walking away from the sport in 2013. During his reign over the welterweight division, he posted wins over Josh KoscheckB.J. PennJon FitchThiago AlvesDan HardyJake ShieldsCarlos ConditNick Diaz and Johny Hendricks.

Though he has been out of the sport for years, St. Pierre remains one the UFC’s all-time leader in total strikes landed (2,523). That he amassed that figure against cream-of-the-crop opposition makes it all the more impressive.

Angela Hill Set to Break Women's Significant Strikes UFC Record

UFC veteran Angela Hill has the chance to pick up more than a victory at UFC Fight Night 224 this weekend.

Hill will face Mackenzie Dern in the UFC Fight Night 224 headliner this Saturday at the UFC Apex. She returns after earning an impressive win over Emily Ducote at UFC Orlando in December.

Hill is one of the OGs of the female divisions in the UFC, making her promotional debut in Dec. 2014. She's gone on to have a successful career with wins over the likes of Maryna Moroz, Loopy Godinez, and Ariane Carnelossi.

A win over a top star like Dern would propel Hill toward the strawweight title picture. While she's expecting to put on a signature performance this weekend, she'll likely make UFC history in the process.
